Allura Partners appoints CTO for SaaS leader Social Pinpoint
Allura Partners has a long-standing partnership with Advent Partners in conducting executive searches for their portfolio companies including RMS Cloud, Imaging Associates Group, and Junior Adventures Group.
Late last year, Advent Partners acquired Social Pinpoint, a leading global provider of SaaS solutions for community and stakeholder management. The acquisition has supported Social Pinpoint in its continued growth to accelerate its expansion in core markets, including Australia, where it already holds approximately 30% market share.
Following the acquisition of Social Pinpoint, Allura Partners successfully placed Kylie Sheather as Chief Financial Officer at Social Pinpoint to advance the company’s expansion strategy.
The company recently sought to expand its executive team by adding a Chief Technology Officer to work alongside Brian Ashton, Chief Product Officer at Social Pinpoint.
Allura Partners was engaged for this search, with Jake Rose, Senior Manager, leading the effort in close collaboration with Brian and the management team.
Following a thorough search process, Rob Ormond, was appointed Chief Technology Officer. Rob has a strong track record in SaaS environments, including Simpro Software, a leading provider of trade contracting job management software, where he was a key contributor to growing the business from AU$20 million to over AU$150 million ARR.
Rob joins at an exciting time of growth for the business, backed by a strong executive team and Advent Partners. The growth strategy includes accelerating growth in core markets, improving the group's go-to-market strategy, acquiring complementary platforms, investing in the product roadmap, and enhancing systems and processes to enable business scalability.
