Allura Partners appoints CFO for Key Pharmaceuticals
Key Pharmaceuticals is a leading independent, Australian-owned and based consumer health company with a consistent record of growth.
Allura Partners was recently engaged to appoint a new Chief Financial Officer for Key Pharmaceutical following the recent internal promotion of Meelian Hoh to Chief Executive Officer.
Callum Jones-Bray, Manager at Allura Partners, led the search across the Sydney market to identify a finance executive with experience in the FMCG and consumer healthcare sector, and a proven ability to deliver strategic commercial outcomes.
The ideal candidate needed to have demonstrated delivering strategic outcomes and leading commercial functions. As a family-owned business, cultural fit was also a crucial consideration, given their value-based culture. As such, a people-centric leader with strong interpersonal skills was required.
Through a combination of research and leveraging our existing network, Allura Partners developed a comprehensive longlist of potential candidates. This process resulted in the selection of Byron Bassett, an executive with extensive leadership experience at major consumer businesses, including GSK, Dyson, and Johnson & Johnson.
Byron brings strategic commercial expertise and leadership skills necessary to drive organisational transformation. He is an enterprise leader with experience in managing Commercial teams and deep functional knowledge across Finance, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Property and Governance. Byron also has a strong track record of building and developing highly engaged teams.
Byron will partner with the Executive Team across the organisation to drive a new growth agenda for Key Pharmaceuticals.
