Andrew Smith - promoted to Managing Director

In April 2017, Andrew Smith joined Adrian Belle and together, they launched Allura Partners. With a shared vision, they embarked on building a new executive search brand to deliver C-suite searches, predominantly to the Australian private equity (PE) market and their portfolio companies.

As the business quickly built its brand, reputation and track record, their vision shifted to include building out the capability to support our PE clients. The C-suite executives they were appointing needed supporting talent to execute rapid transformation and change to deliver the required growth and/or turnaround expected of them. The plan was to build out finance, technology, digital and transformation recruitment teams to support our PE clients and C-suite executives. The vision was to also take these services to the broader market.

By mid-2017, Andrew and Adrian embarked on executing their new plan by attracting experienced recruiters to join Allura Partners. At the same time, they welcomed an opportunistic hire to build an insurance offering.

We are proud to say that this plan and vision has become a reality – and Andrew has been instrumental in achieving this. Over the past four years, he has been successful in attracting experienced recruiters to join Allura Partners. He has built and managed these teams and fostered our culture, all whilst also delivering numerous C-suite executive searches. As a result, we now boast a team that is 17 strong, with a brand and reputation that aligns to the original vision that was set all those years ago.

With plans to continue to grow Allura Partners that includes strengthening our executive search offering, continuing to build out our teams locally and embarking on international expansion - Allura Partners is delighted to announce the promotion of Andrew Smith to Managing Director. This role will have the responsibility of continuing the growth of the business locally.

Congratulations Andrew, a well-deserved promotion.
